Let me introduce myself. Who is the driving force behind BoektiequeOnline? My name is Laura and I'm the founder of BoektiqueOnline. I've loved reading my whole life. I don't just read books, I devour them. Like a bookworm, I glide through the pages. Even as a child, I forgot the world around me while I was reading. I quickly finished most of the children's section at the library and moved on to more adult books. As I got older, I developed a hobby: browsing bestsellers in the bookstore and then counting which books I'd already read. Often, I'd read them before they even made it onto the bestseller list. I ignored the books I hadn't read yet on this table, because why would I want to read a bestseller if everyone else has already devoured it? I'm always looking for new and unique books. BoektiqueOnline was born from this passion, with a growing selection of books that haven't yet made the bestseller list, that aren't available in every bookstore or at the big blue store. My goal is to connect authors with readers like me. Readers who want something different, readers who don't go with the flow, and readers who enjoy a challenge. But especially for everyone who loves beautiful and unique stories. With my personal approach, I prefer to read all books myself before posting them online. And with my passion for great stories, I'm unleashing the bookish dragon within me. And searching for new and old stories. Because every story is worth reading.

In 2024, I published my first book, entirely self-published. A dream come true—but also a reality check: as an independent author, it proved nearly impossible to gain visibility through traditional bookstores. The costs, the barriers, the system… it all didn't work in freelance writers' favor.
Shared with love
That's why Boektiqueonline was born. A platform for writers who want to share their stories without the intervention of expensive publishers or closed channels. And for readers who are looking for authentic, undiscovered gems.
